1. They’re Playing Hide & Seek with Your Budget 

If your planner keeps dodging your questions about the actual cost until the last minute, they might be setting you up for a financial ambush. Waiting until it’s too late to show you the full picture leaves you no time to find alternatives—or to even change planners!  You deserve transparency from the get-go.

2. They Are Absent When You Need Them the Most 

Is your planner straight-up ghosting you? If you’re constantly chasing them down for updates or they go radio silent when you need them most, it’s time to cut ties. You deserve a planner who’s all in, not one who disappears during crunch time. After all, planning should feel like a team sport, not a game of hide and seek!

If you’re paying for the ‘wow’ factor, you better see what’s included before the big day. Otherwise, you might be in for a basic wedding at a premium price.

8. The Contract Is Sketchy, or Worse—Non-Existent 

If the contract they gave you is super vague or doesn't protect your time, money, or vision, hit pause. A solid contract is a must to make sure everything is on paper and expectations are clear. Without it, you could end up paying extra for things you didn’t even want—or not getting what you paid for.

10. No 3D Render? No Deal!

If you’re paying for an epic, custom design and your planner can’t provide a 3D render or detailed plan, you’re basically rolling the dice. You deserve to know exactly what your wedding will look like—no surprises! If they’re not giving you a solid plan, there’s a good chance those ‘small details’ you agreed on won’t even show up.
