Inspired by the Golden Fleece, one of Greek’s mythology’s oldest fables, Rami Al Ali unveiled a mesmerizing haute couture collection today for spring/summer 2023 in Paris.

Rami Al Ali has always went the extra mile with his designs, and this collection was no exception! The spellbinding looks in the collection tells a story of elegance while recreating the splendor of ancient Greek culture so beautifully.

With dazzling dresses in motion down the runway and an excessive amount of colors, intricate detailing, and golden embellishments infused into the couture gowns, we couldn’t but notice how art, sculpture, and fashion came all together on one runaway!

The designer created a balance between strong and soft, a mix of both things a woman is made of. Gold permeated the collection alongside dust rose or hints of fuchsia and sea-foam green. Pleating offered an underwater mood like gills exhaling through water. At times, the creasing served to create a fuller and more structured silhouette. Yet the most sublime looks used pleating to give the impression of movement, gliding across a pond, or the idea of shoulders ruffling like feathers in a soft breeze.
