The celebration began the moment guests stepped into a welcome area that looked like a pastel daydream poured into a historic courtyard. Mint lounges, blush poufs, sculpted seating, and the palace’s iconic blue-water basins created a soft, summery flow that immediately set the mood. Florals spilled everywhere: hydrangeas, delphiniums, garden roses, even clusters of fresh green apples that added the perfect quirky twist.

And then the “Bridgerton effect” kicked in. Violinists in sparkling gold gowns were stationed like living sculptures around the courtyard, their music drifting through the arches with a cinematic softness. Dancers in ornate period costumes passed between guests, transforming the welcome area into a moving tableau, something between art installation and romance novel. Even the escort cards fed into the storyline, making everyone feel like they were stepping into a modern-day fairytale rather than just a wedding entrance.
