Bringing Ancient Greek Sophistication To Sursock Palace

When history and ancient cultures are celebrated in the present world, magical things are set to happen. We're taking you inside a 19th century glamorous palace to witness the perfect celebration of love.

History buffs definitely know that when we say intense love stories, dramatic passion and deep love, we're talking about ancient Greek civilization! A Greek theme was therefore the perfect mood to match the epicness of Villa Sursock historic Palace, with all its sculptures and timeless elements.

The moment we stepped inside the palace, we knew we're about to rediscover classical antiquity with a trendy touch and contemporary feel. The Ancient Greek spirit was embodied from the very start, where a bunch of sculptures dominated the exterior, making guests long for what’s coming next!

Nothing screams Greece like a live harpists performance welcoming guests, alongside hostesses dressed in historical vintage costumes,  setting the ancient-tone right.

Curious to know what's next? Well, we won’t keep you wondering! Inside, you’ll be whisked into the beautiful old times, the beauty of sophisticated sculptures and Greek Mythological figures. To top it all off, hundreds of florals and greenery were incorporated dazzlingly into the entrance, followed by a pink opulent scenery.

An assortment of pink flowers with an extra sense of serenity paired with blush-toned candles oozing with elegance, instantly satisfies a dreamy aesthetic. Silk embroidered table napkins were customized with the couple's logo, giving off a sense of royalty and opulence. And guess what? This is just one of four different themed rooms!

 Up next is something blue! A room overloaded with blue blooms, gold accents and a keen attention to the slightest customizable detail. Renaissance paintings hanged across the old resilient walls of the palace created a dramatic scene that flew us back to the golden-era.

Timeless elements with a twist! Modernized Greek sculptures encapsulated the beauty of the third intricately sophisticated room, merged with numerous tulips in vivid shades, beautifully matching the paintings. Every element in this room was inspired by the Greek History, yet uplifted with a trendy touch and out of the box creativity! The room was flourishing with blooms and colors.

The magnificent Sursock architecture may not need much to dress it up, but opting for a statement décor is a win! Flowers from top to bottom, dangling beautifully from the stairs to the floor, were the highlight of the last room. 3 words: Dreamy, Chic, and Opulent. This is what you get when flowers take center stage.

A great love story doesn’t only require a dazzling setting, but an epic wedding celebration as well. From the bridal entry to the cake-cutting , every moment was magical by all means, especially when Nader El Atat joined to perform and kept guests dancing till dawn!

Now that's what we call a big fat Greek wedding .. with a twist !
