Desert Rose Wedding In Qatar!

October 14 . 2021

Well, we’ve been told that the desert is pretty hot, but we never knew the meaning hot can come in more ways than just one: High in temperature, epically beautiful, and eye-striking! Just like this DESERT ROSE wedding in Qatar!

A mesmerizing architectural project resembling the desert rose: A flower-like aggregate of mineral crystals occurring only in arid coastal regions. It’s the first architectural structure that nature itself creates, through wind, sea, and sand! How complex and poetic is that!

The inspiration originated first from the exterior architectural of the national museum of Qatar. The vision was transformed into reality, through an outdoor space of 5,000 sqm that looks exactly like a desert, elevated by using complex 3D pattern.

Now let's get technical! The process of creating a desert rose element started with carving the mold and making it silicon, then vacuumed the proportion of transparent unsaturated polyester resin injected into special containers and left to stagnant. The next process was product remolding, turned into a desert rose shape, all placed at the entrance’s pathway! We are no artists, but we know that what we have just spotted is something unique, on a whole new level of production!

Le Mariage unified art and architecture to come up with ultra-elegant wedding designs, from thousands of multiple 3D layers arranged in a complex pattern resembling the desert rose and dispersed above everyone throughout the ceiling, to the wall designs injected with hundreds of wooden pieces shaped as floating desert waves. Speaking of which, a parametric modelling style for the artwork of walls was followed to emphasize the conceptual design idea.

The attention to the grand structures was equally set to the details, as each guest was pampered with a handcrafted desert rose element, taking that desert-feel straight into their homes! That’s how you transform a good memory into a tangible piece of art that will last forever!

As soon as you step inside, you’ll realize that beauty existed at every turn and angle! Myriam fares joined the celebration and kept the guests amused with her enjoyable performances, followed up by Omaima Taleb that ended the celebration on an epic notch!

This Desert Rose wedding project was more than a design, it was an unforgettable experience for all guests, including us! A rose which feels like a garden in the desert sand .
